Project Management Analyst

Role

As a Project Management Analyst, you will manage all aspects of the change management process at IFX, working across multiple teams and supporting multiple programmes of work to ensure projects reach completion in a timely and efficient manner. Managing change and fostering an environment that is flexible and open to change is at the core of what we do at IFX, so this role will work with all parts of the business to support this

Responsibilities

Governance.

  • Support Project Managers with the change control process, maintaining documentation of process, and storing of all decisions and changes agreed, as well as minutes and tracked actions
  • Implement a PMO calendar across the projects being supported, to ensure that the project delivery procedures are always followed, promptly escalating risks and issues, and making continuous improvement suggestions
  • Support Project Managers with project planning and scheduling, including plan creation and maintenance, critical path planning and milestones
  • Work with business owners and Development to forecast expenditure and track against this throughout the project life cycle
  • Work with risk teams to identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics for all open projects

Project Documentation.

  • Work with the Project Managers, drafting or reviewing as needed, the IFX project documentation and artefacts, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Manage document controls, including project documentation storage, version control and reviews to ensure adherence across the company
  • Preparation of project reports including status reports, project dashboards, tracking and analysis of budgetary information across the IFX project portfolio

Training.

  • Champion the PMO function and change control process
  • Provide support and guidance to Project Managers and the wider project team to deliver projects efficiently and ensure compliance with the standards and change process

Methods and tools.

  • Identify continuous enhancements and support the delivery of improvements to project management standards, tools, and methods to support the strategic direction of the Central PMO
  • Provide direction for teams in using the most appropriate tools and methodologies and introduce new ones
  • Conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness and define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Competencies & Experience

  • Proven track record within a FinTech/scale up working with Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to build partnerships across the company
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and move the business towards goal/vision
  • Business acumen and understanding of organisational challenges as they relate to delivery of projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and results driven
  • Shows resilience and commitment, ability to plan, prioritise and work under pressure
